Gypsy Artist
Since the beginning of my career as an artist over 50 years ago, I always designed a studio that allowed me create very detailed work as a realist painter. Over the years I was able to customize my home studios with the right lighting and air control from Rome to California and Maui, Hawaii.
Slowly over the last few years my work has gone through a metamorphosis where I require more freedom in my creative expression and connection to my consciousness. This includes spontaneity in the moment with an addition of chaos, surrender and trust. As a result my work has liberated me as an artist. The depth of my style has emerged as abstract expressionism, contemporary, visionary art, and luminosity in motion.
At this point I realized I did not need the “perfect” studio to paint.
Now, finally, I am free and can create in any location that is presented to me on the road. In the last couple of years I embraced and allowed the connection between the various beautiful places in the United States and Europe and my creative inspiration and expression.
Over the past few years I have been the traveling nationally and internationally with my fiance Patricia Varley exploring the world. My journey keeps feeding me as an artist and is expanding my work as a contemporary, abstract painter. I am looking forward to my next destination which transcends the ordinary and ignites my passion.
